Tithes & Offering

"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Corinthians 9:7

Additional Information

Tithing, giving 10% of your income to the church, is a commandment from God that allows the church to support itself (Malachi 3:8-12). In return, God supplies all of our needs in a magnitude much greater than our tithes. Not only do tithes pay for the needs of the church, but it also allows the church to give back to the community, help families in need, and give donations to out sister churches who support us as well.

Tithing should not be something that we do reluctantly. All the money that we earn belongs to God and He allows us to keep the remaining 90% for our personal needs. Whether or not you have the desire or ability to tithe, we encourage you to provide an offering for our church. It shows that you are willing to put God above personal needs and contribute to the church when and where you can.  We greatly appreciate any for of support for Mount Sinai.

To make it easier for all members and visitors to pay tithes or offerings, we have set up a Cash App account accessible anywhere and anytime. You can pay by typing in the cash tag "$Sinaifunds" directly from the Cash app website or their mobile app. We ask that you specify whether your payment is for tithes or offerings in the note. As always, you can pay your tithes and offerings in person during our Sunday services.
